Privacy information
English guidance on the current VERATIU capture service, its extension and optional Makeprove improvement activities.
Which policy applies
This English page explains the current capture route and relevant privacy information. When you purchase and capture through VERATIU, its original privacy policy and the version presented at checkout govern that service. This page does not replace that policy or change an existing order.
VERATIU Capture
The official extension records content selected by the user during a capture session that the user starts and authorizes. It operates within the session and browser permissions made available for that purpose.
Data that may be processed
- Screenshots taken during the session.
- Video of the user-selected tab, where included in the mode.
- Audio when available and authorized by the capture workflow.
- URLs associated with session navigation.
- Technical events needed to operate and audit the capture.
- Technical metadata of the resulting files.
- Identifiers used to associate artifacts with the relevant session or purchase.
Purposes
The captured data supports preservation, organization, processing, integrity checking, technical reporting and delivery of the evidence requested by the user.
Browser permissions
The extension may request technical permissions for the active tab, tab capture, local technical storage, required extension components and pages used during the session. VERATIU describes these permissions as serving the capture functions rather than behavioral advertising.
Transmission, storage and integrity
Artifacts needed for the service may be sent to VERATIU infrastructure for processing, storage, reporting and delivery. Hashes and associated technical records support integrity checks where applicable. The current capture service does not give Makeprove unrestricted access to a user’s device.
Service providers and payments
VERATIU may use providers for hosting, storage, processing, email and payments. Its policy states that it does not sell captured evidence content or use it for behavioral advertising.
Financial information required for a purchase is handled by the payment provider named in that checkout. The VERATIU Capture extension is not intended to collect full payment-card numbers.
Separate permission for improvement
Permission to capture and permission to use data for Makeprove improvement are separate. A capture or payment does not automatically authorize training. An authorized transfer, when enabled, must be tied to the relevant capture and its consent record.
The Makeprove feedback option concerns the ratings and action-correction categories described in its permission notice. It does not authorize general reuse of page text, URLs, images or videos. Technical ingestion does not by itself train or activate a model.
Retention
The capture policy allows retention for service delivery, security, audit and applicable obligations, with periods that depend on the data and service. Download availability is not the same as a promise to delete every record when that window closes. Refer to your order, delivery and the original policy for the applicable conditions.
Your requests and responsibilities
Use the official privacy channel to ask about data or exercise rights under applicable law. Some records may need to be retained for integrity, security or obligations that apply to the service.
Select only content you are authorized to access and avoid unnecessary information about other people. Capturing a file does not resolve the legal basis for every subsequent use.
Contact and updates
The current VERATIU privacy contact is suporte@veratiu.com.br. The original policy may be updated to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. For a VERATIU order, review the policy version identified at checkout.
