More than what appears on the screen
Messages, posts, webpages, offers, emails, videos, files and system records may help document a fact. Their usefulness depends on the issue, their source and the ability to explain when and how they were observed.
Three elements to preserve
- Content: the message, image, page, file or information itself.
- Context: visible account details, sequence, address, dates and circumstances.
- Integrity: technical information that lets a reviewer compare the preserved files and detect later changes.
The limits of an isolated screenshot
A screenshot may omit earlier navigation, the complete address, the continuity of a conversation or other technical details. A documented collection can preserve more of the procedure and make these limitations easier to assess.
Prepare before capturing
- Define the fact you need to document and keep collection proportionate.
- Identify the source and show the relevant sequence.
- Use only accounts and content you can legitimately access.
- Keep the originals and download the complete delivered package within its availability period.
Available browser routes
The existing VERATIU capture service offers website, WhatsApp Web and Instagram Web modes. The user operates the current Chrome extension. The actual media, report and metadata depend on the chosen mode and the content captured.
What technical preservation supports
URLs, timestamps, events, images and relevant video help explain the collection. A report, manifest and hashes support technical comparison. They do not independently establish truth, authorship or legal admissibility.
The capture service available today
Makeprove directs you to the existing VERATIU service for purchase, session setup, capture and delivery. Use the official VERATIU Capture extension in Google Chrome on a computer. The VERATIU checkout displays the actual charge in Brazilian reais and the terms for that order.
You operate the capture. Fully automated AI capture, native mobile capture apps and unrestricted access to a device are not available through this flow. The extension remains the current VERATIU extension.
